November, 1997

Dear Friends and Support Team,

Serving the Lord is a privilege. We are ever thankful to Him for putting us here, and for the part you play. We are again excited to report that traffic on the website continues to grow. We are now averaging around 10,000 log-ons per month. Last month we printed out the log for a 23 day period (60 pages) and meticulously read through it one evening. We were really excited to find that many new countries have logged on that we had never seen before. Some of these were: Bulgaria, Russia, India, Brazil, Israel, Bahrain, Italy, Burundi, Mexico, Thailand, and the Philippines. Some of these countries are fairly closed to the Gospel. Contemplate the above figure, and during your next prayer time remember to give Him praise.

As we near the end of the millennium we have noticed the increased interest in Biblical prophecy. We have also seen many newly published books on the subject. When I graduated from seminary I truly believed if there was one area of theology I had mastered it was prophecy. However, after a few decades down the road, and much Bible study and reading the literature on the subject, I'm amazed at my previous immaturity. Like most you, I'm personally interested in the subject of the Lord's return, and I try to keep up with new ideas and thinking. The enclosed briefing outline is about a view most have not heard of, but one which is growing in the evangelical community. We've tried to present it fairly and in a way that our readers can grasp its major ideas. It should not be concluded that this is a viewpoint that we have embraced. What we are committed to, is further study on the subject, and being as intellectually honest as we can be about other viewpoints that purport to be based on Scripture.

November is a favorite month of mine. I love the fall weather, and I love Thanksgiving. We trust that all of you are enjoying a great fall, and that this Thanksgiving time will be special for you and your families.

Remember CIM in your prayers. We are still struggling financially since the summer. We are far behind in staff salaries and still have some unpaid bills, though we are better off than we were a month ago.

For Christ and His Kingdom,

Bill Crouse, President
