Dear Friends and Support Team,

We now have over 50 briefing papers available at our web site, and judging from our e-mail, God is blessing the effort. One note recently arrived from the United Arab Emirates, a closed country to the gospel. Our literature is going where no missionaries are allowed to enter! We are also increasingly gratified to see how many of our log-ons are major colleges and universities. For this we praise the Lord. Last month we averaged almost 200 log-ons a day.

The above-mentioned briefing papers (outline form) are designed largely for believers who want to be informed about current and relevant topics of interest to the Body of Christ. They are in a format so that the major ideas of a topic can be quickly grasped. Our goal for these dfdpapers is "to set forth the truth plainly" (II Cor. 4:2), to be thorough, intellectually honest, and fair. We always appreciate constructive criticism or correction. We likewise, are grateful for any news articles, book notices, or other information some of you forward to us. Currently we are working on these topics: the gift of prophesy, post modernism, the Eastern Orthodox Church, preterism (an old view of the end times that is becoming increasingly popular), and the church and healing. The briefing on the gift of prophesy will be mailed (hopefully) with November's newsletter. We are sorry for the delay. Pray for us; it's a difficult subject.

We enjoin each of you to pray for our nation and the coming local and national elections next month. As you are aware these elections are increasingly polarized and tumultuous as two competing and diverse worldviews are vying for the ascendancy. Sooner or later one world view will become dominant.

Continue to pray for us. We need wisdom daily. We spend about two hours a day answering questions either by phone or e-mail.
