Dear Friends and Support Team,

Our Sovereign God has been pleased to allow us to minister in these times. We have been blessed with some amazing technological tools to assist us in this task. The books alone that are available would be incomprehensible to believers living in past ages. Yes, the tools are a great blessing, but overcoming the spiritual darkness is just as forbidding a task as ever, and without the Holy Spirit it would be impossible. All this reminds us how dependent we must be on our spiritual resources. All the fancy digital contraptions cannot replace the power of prayer. More than ever we need prayer warriors to undergird this ministry. How thankful we are when some of you write and encourage us that you are praying for us.

The Christian Information Ministries web page is now linked with some of the largest in the Christian ministry. We are still averaging about 170 log-ons a day from all over the world, and from most of the major universities. The Word is going out and we believe Christians are receiving much needed information they need for their lives and ministry.

We are occasionally asked for information on Post Modernism. Though we have never done a general briefing paper on this subject we do have two on more specific post modern themes. They are the briefings on Deconstructionism and Fascism. If you would like to do some reading on your own we recommend: THE DEATH OF TRUTH edited by Dennis McCallum, POSTMODERN TIMES: A CHRISTIAN GUIDE TO CONTEMPORARY THOUGHT AND CULTURE by Gene Edward Veith, Jr., and A PRIMER ON POSTMODERNISM by Stanley Grenz. It is our opinion as well as others, that the current administration in Washington may be the first with a definite post modern tinge. This of course does not just include the president and his wife, but his staff of advisors and other White House employees.
