Another option is to make them available on the Web if you can generate
the manuscript in suitable electronic form.
I suspect that the big "dinosaur" publishers (probably including some CCM
ones!) might wish to have exclusive rights and to have the copyright.
Hopefully the more enlightened ones would continue to allow you to make
material available over the Web.
Be very careful about handing your copyright over to a publisher. There
is the danger they could "bury" your piece. They would stop printing it,
and other firms might not be able to agree terms with the first. Your
piece would be forever locked in their dark dungeons.
Various material is already available as manuscript over the Web.
My home page includes my own stuff (obviously!) as Finale ETF, PostScript
and TIFF. It also links to other possible sites and I am happy to add

and I believe that the CCLI site has a link into my URL.
But wouldn't it be better if somewhere like the "worship" or "praise.net"
or "church-music" sites could maintain such a list. (Hint!)
