Let me ditto Lori's remarks and also comment on what a blessing this
list is, precisely because of the loving, Christian attitudes of its
subscribers.  Everybody who's on the internet has probably visited sites
where the language (and worse, the attitude that the language
represents) is belligerent, crude, spiteful, even obscene.  What a joy
it is to communicate with people who love the Lord and love each other
and who show it through their communications.

I fear that I reacted to the joke in question with a knee jerk post.  I
did so, I felt, in a loving fashion, but to any who felt that it was
not, please forgive me.

Well, the more we discuss this issue, the more I fear we get off-topic. 
So I'll shut up and sit down like a good boy.
