I would love to chat with some of you as well as utilize this obviously
great tool.
Hi Michael and everyone. To answer your question, I am very actively
involved in an on-line ministry called JesusCafe Ministries. We chat on
the Talk City server. Our room is open 24 hours a day and has a team of
approx. 25 operators so the chat is monitored when an operator is on-line.
You can connect through Mirc (available at http://www.mirc.co.uk/) for
PC's, ircle (available at http://www.xs4all.nl/~ircle/) for macs. Those
are the two main chat softwares. If you have a java supported system, you
can connect through ez-talk, the Talk Server chat client (www.talkcity.com)
although it is known to be slow and I don't suggest it. The port for Mirc
is 6667 and the server is chat.talkcity.com. We chat on a variety of
subjects of which worship comes up a lot. To find out more, you can visit
our site at http://users.uniserve.com/~missv/JCafe.html.
Have a great day everybody!
Susan
