[Worship] TOOOO MANY WORSHIP SINGERS

Here is a problem that I have found to be unique and in a way a real joy to
work through. I normally have 4 worship singers on the worship team + 8
band members ... We meet early Sunday morn to do a final practice of the
songs ... Lately I have 2 extra singers that have made the statement ...
."I'm going to be at pre-service practice just in case someone does not
show" ... "I want to worship every chance I get!" ... Well, I know their
hearts are right, and so I have been filling any empty slot with them. Now
the problem (or potential problem) is that I remain very sensitive to the
possibility of other worship team members becoming jealous. My heart is for
every member of the worship team to preparing for their scheduled time of
worship through out the week ... after all our God desires and deserves a
prepared and preprayed worship team ... If, a team member is late, or does
not show for pre-service practice, I consider that an indication of
(possibly) not being prepared AND obviously these two extra singers have
come with a prepared heart ... I have my ideas on how to approach
this situation preventively, but thought I would gleam from your vast
collective wisdom.

In Christ,

Mark
