Mike and more,

Lately one of our pianists quit our worship-team. That leaves one pianist
(17 years old). I questioned myself: can I lead with only my guitar? I
think I can, but some backup is very comfortable. I always play accoustic
(nylon strung) with a pickup and some effects like chorus, flanger and
reverb (from my famous Zoom 1010) direct to the PA. This is very direct
sound and has enough body. My son owns a strat, but I find the sound
thinner than my accoustic (even with effects). At least too thin to lead a
congregation of about 130 people.
