[Worship] More MIDI?
Hi all,
I think we'ld all like live music as well as good
MIDI. It's just how you use it. I don't know much about MIDI unless that I know
how to plug in my Roland E-16 into the computer and make the connection between
my sons MIDI-guitar into either keyboard or computer. But that's it. Nothing
about channels and whatever. If anyone has a good idea where I could learn more,
please tell me all about it.
This morning we did "We will dance on streets
that are golden..." by David Ruis. The intro is that nice arpeggiated
guitarlick. In my ZOOM 1010 multieffect I programmed a delay, so the arpeggio
was doubled - through the whole song. It worked out fine! But, imagine we lost
tempo and all would go wrong, because while playing you can't tune the effect.
Can something like that be done in MIDI?

And He hath put a new song in my
mouth,
praise unto our God:
many shall see, and fear,
and shall trust
in the LORD.
