[Worship] Message Formatting

Here are a few guidelines for posting to the Worship Discussion List that
will make it easier for everyone to read your messages:

1.  Please do not send any attachments.  Most subscribers cannot read them. 
Furthermore, some subscribers have limits on how large a message they can
receive and many have limited mailbox space which fills up quickly with
large messages.

2.  Many of you are sending mail using email programs which do not insert
line breaks (even though they may appear to on your screen).  When the rest
of us receive your mail it comes as one long line that can only be read by
scrolling across the screen.  This is extremely cumbersome and time
consuming.  Find out what your mail program does.  One way to check on this
is to access the Worship List Archives at http://worship.s1.net/ .  Find a
message that you have sent. If your program does not insert line breaks each
paragraph will appear as
one long line.  Line length should not exceed 80 characters, though 70 is
preferable.  

3.  If your mail program has the option of sending messages via HTML or
Plain Text please send them as plain text.  HTML tagged messages cannot be
properly read by many email programs.
