[Worship] Daily Worship Thought - 23 January 1998

TITLE: Now Or Then?

The choice of worshipping God is not a decision of if , but a decision
of when . The whole earth is given an opportunity to come willingly to
Christ and worship freely. But a time is coming when the final
acknowledgement of the Son of God will establish the focus of all
worship to the One Great God!
     
     In my vision at night I looked, and there before me was one like
     the son of man, coming with the clouds of heaven. He appproached
     the Ancient of Days and was led into his presence. He was given
     authority, glory and sovereign power; all peoples, nations and men
     of every languages worshiped him. His dominion is an everlasting
     dominion that will not pass away, and his kingdom is one that will
     never be destroyed.
     Daniel 7:13-14

Jesus will have a final day when all creation bows before him and
acknowledges who he truly is (see also Philippians 2:10-11 ). Jesus will
be worshiped. Our choice is simple. Worship him now, or worship him
then. If we worship now, we bow our hearts and knees to the King of
Kings and make him Lord of our lives. If we choose not to worship and
accept him as our Savior now, our bended knee then will be as a final
act in fear and awe.

Let us worship now, and on that day give another expression of worship
to our loving Savior.
