This is a difficult question to answer as it varies from church to
church. The level will of course also vary throughout the worship
service time. I will stay away from specific levels but would like to
make a comment.
Who is your target? By that I do not mean God or people as I do not
find anything in the bible that tells us what dB level God likes.
Who is your church trying to reach? Answer that question for
yourselves and you will have the answer to your question about sound
level. As mater of fact, if you can properly determine who your
church is trying to reach, you will have the answer to a lot of
questions.
