Re: [Worship] intimacy with God
Jill,
I recently read a book called the Harvest by Rick Joyner and he talks about the movements of the Holy Spirit in history. As they have been manifest, they are becoming more intense and closer together. Do you catch the parallel here? Yes, he compares it to the birthing process. The world is in labor but has not yet given birth and each movement is a labor pain. Now let me say that as we move along, our intimacy with God also intensifies. I know for myself that when I am following in His will for my life He will speak to me in visions but sometimes prophetic words and there is no more wonderful feeling than to hear Him. It seems to talk to me best during worship in the house groups,
but I am growing more now than I ever have in the past 20 years. Praise God and hear His Voice.

But I have just started wondering today-do you think God may be moving toward this idea intimacy with Him because we are now ministering to the first of the generations that have been raised in broken homes, daycares, etc? What I mean is, could this be a leading of God because we have a whole generation out there who has not known the intimacy of a healthy relationship? Those things have certainly been present before, but not in such a widespread manner. Just the thoughts for the day. Wondering if anyone else has thought so.
