Let me share this contemporary "hymn" text with you.  Give me your snail

“Whatever is true; whatever is honorable; 
whatever is pure or just or lovely or gracious; 
if there is any excellence, or anything worthy of praise;

and the God of peace will be with you.”

or if you’re at work or school or church, there is no difference.  
Protect the entrance of your mind from things that would turn your heart
from God.  Think on true things; think on pure things;

If you but believe then He can work in you such beauty.  
But you must let your life be His, withholding no part from His control.

and the God of peace will be with you.”

A life of never-ending peace; so now and forever more we’ll sing 
Praise to Jesus!  Risen Savior!
