Re: [Worship] Taking A Break!

Dear Dan, My name is Rachel Alley. I'm a Youth Director in Georgia. I know
exactly how you feel. Our church is very unique in that 49% of the
congregation is under 18. That makes my part time job pretty big. With
lots of responsibilities in a lot of areas. This is my second church that
I've worked at. Because I burned out super quick at my old church I did
some things differently when I accepted this new church over 2 years ago.
I set priorities with the personnel committee and that was this. #1 My
relationship with God. (that means on Sunday, I go to Sunday School, I
worship, I sit with my family) I've found that congregations forget that we
need to be "filled" too! #2 My family comes second! If things aren't
happy at home, things aren't going to be happy at work #3 My Job! I will
do the very best I can!

I hope this makes since to you! Remember you've got to take care of your
relationship with God through worship because no one else will do that for
you!

All for Him!
Rachel
