Re: [Worship] children?

myk:

Swish the toilet before you leave....get a baby sitter....teenager or wanna-
be grandmother to supervise them in another area....or leave the kids at
home....

...but bring a bunch of flowers/fruit/chocolates and an apology to the
janitors....they are the unappreciated overused members of your staff... You
always attract more bees with honey than with vinegar.......and honey is way
better!!!!

whatever you do ...do not create a war over this....no one will win....and the
Lord will lose.

Where do I get this from?....the school of hard knocks.....I am a worship
leader/singer and my husband is pastor....and we have two boys who have done
more embrassing things on Sunday morning than I will ever care to admit. We
have had to develope strict rules for our children and be humble about what
they do .....usually that attitude of humility and honesty and discipline
makes up for the mistakes in judgement children are prone to have (esp. the
ones with a naughty streak in them)...
We have also found that it makes us as human as the next guy.....and when you
are up front every week you are in a glass bowel and will be judged
differently....like it or not.....

In His Service.
