[Worship] steppin' down

Hi list,

I have posted numerous concerns my wife and myself have
experienced in our worship ministry.  The latest is the problem
concerning the worship leaders children messing up the church
building.  I want to thank all of you for your concerns and input
in the various problems I have posted.  Other things happened
over the weekend that have caused us to stop and consider
exactly what our value is in furthering the kingdom of God.
The staff of our church has entered into much gossip concerning
the other ministries in the church, and now, when we get up to
lead, 2/3 of the congregation appears to have a problem with us.
To make a long story short, we are stepping down.  The problems
with the staff can no longer be our problem.  Our children suffer
our bad attitudes about the situation, not to mention false blame
for messes they didn't make etc.  We homeschool our children,
and our feeling is we will invest our energy into our children.  We
only have them for a little while before they grow up and go away.
The most important thing I can say to you all is, that we just
want to worship and serve Him.  Your responses to our posts have
confirmed over the months that we need to step down.  Our purpose
is to worship him, not fight the bride.  We love you all, and we'll 
probobly just lurk awhile and try to be of help to some of you.
