Re: [Worship] Prophecy during worship

First of all, I guess I should introduce myself. My name is Tammy Haire
and I am Director of Music at Trinity Gospel Tabernacle in Nortonville,
Kentucky. I am 32 (hate to admit that!), married, and have 2 kids. I
play keyboard and sing backup for our Worship Leader and occasionally
lead worship from the keyboard.

Regarding the above question, I was always taught (I grew up
Pentecostal) that during a time like that we should reverence the move
of the Holy Spirit. Therefore, when I realize that this is happening, I
gradually fade the music out. After the interpretation is given, I wait
a moment and then begin to play softly again. I realized when I read
the question that I have never given any thought as to what other
churches do in this situation. I am anxious to hear other replies.

Sing to Him a new song; play skillfully with a loud and joyful sound.
Psalm33:3 (The Amplified Bible)
