This isn't exactly what was said, but it is close. I put the original quote
at the bottom so you can see the distortion.

I am not talking about "prophetic folks" per-se. ( how do you spell that
word?) I am talking specifically about folks who are rebelluos and "claim"
they are prophetic thus the Holy Spirit told me so - stuff. Rebellion is as
witch-craft according to the bible. There is a difference between folks who
are still "working out their salvation daily" than the folks who say they
have it all together and continuely confront leadership because "they" don't
like the way things are going. Again, keeping in context what I was trying
to say (and I agree sometimes I don't say things properly-I hate it when
that happens) I do not want folks coming in our congregation and trying to
"take-over." For instance, we once had a couple come in who seemed
wonderful and everything was fine. A few weeks later they are talking about
this person or that one. Next, they starting to talk about how we are doing
things "unbiblical" and God is not with us (us = leaders of the church).
They continued and continued. I talked to them, we talked them, others
talked to them, but they were convinced the Holy Spirit brought them here to
help us. After talking to three other pastor's of whom were their pastor at
one point or another, I politely asked them to find another pasture. BUT,
not after talking to them and asking them for "some" (?) biblical references
for their "accusations." They had none. They we convinced they didn't need
any, because the Holy Spirit was their teacher. As I said, I have a very
LOW tolorance for Holy Spirit arrogance. I won't go into the rest of the
story because I think you can figure it out. IMHO - I don't even consider
folks like the Christians - they are wolves in sheeps clothing! The bible
warns us of these things.

See above, I'm not talking about a personality conflict. I am talking about
pride. As a worship leader I don't make those decisions. As an elder and
overseer, I do!

The cases where I have asked folks NOT to come to our fellowship, are rare.
But I won't hesitate to do it.
When folks come in, I call their previous church. I try to find the common
thread, and like everyone I usually know just by where they come from if
it's them or the leadership there. I just know and have experienced the
"free claiming prophet" who can't seem to get along anywhere so they end
where ever any one will tolerate them. Nope - unless the Lord tells me to
take them on, I don't want them in our fellowship. They will only stir the
pot, I do that enough all by myself. I don't need their help. And frankly,
they should be excommunicated and not allowed to go anywhere. That's the
part of history in the church that I think many people would be totally
surprised with. We like to shop around and find the church that fits our
needs - where on earth or in the bible can anyone find that attitude? We
are here to serve God - ALL of us. Not just the leadership - as you say -
and I agree - the leadership should be the example to help others follow.
