Just a few things to this thread
Since ALL things exist because of God's permission, I believe
that music and musicians can be reclaimed by believing musicians for the
kingdom.
It has become a practice at the Morningstar Heart of David
Conferences that a secular song is sung, sometimes with the words changed with
permission and claimed back for the kingdom.
The last one was "Come Together Over Me" by the
Beatles.
Larry Norman has a song that says "Why should the Devil
have all the good Music"...
Give Larry a listen sometime...he knows the pulse of the
lost
James and Betty Robison are having a conference called
'Forever Young"....you guessed it, the theme song...Rod Stewart...forever
young....
Finally....I listen often to secular music....some of the most
profound messages I have received in my 45 years have come from that
genre
I also want to know what the cries of this generation
are...

hmmm....about the stairway to heaven..I read
somewhere that when played backwards, it is satanic. But there is a song ( I
forgot the title ) but it is something like 'road to hell'..or maybe even
'stairway to hell' or something like that. When that song was played
backwards, there were voices praising Jesus! Funny how titles can be
tricky! But another...Hotel California is a famous song among the
youths in my church and they play the song with their instruments once in a
while...what is wrong with that song? I haven't heard anything bad about
yet.
Sorry if this is off topic but as worshippers of Christ I
think it is good to know what songs have been corrupted by satan. If anyone
knows of other songs like these...could you let us know please?
I also read that some songs by the Beatles were corrupted
by satan but it was unknown to the Beatles themselves. Apparently, someone
in the studio did something really evil.
