[Worship] secular and christian music

I would like to add a little something to the discussion about secular and
christian music,  I am having a hard time convincing my husband that christian
music is well written.  He thinks that a lot of it is lyrically simplistic and
does not make him "think".  I have introduced some artists to him like Susan
Ashton who he has just recently learned to appreciate but he insists that we
can find God in almost any song even if it is secular.  What do you think?
