[Worship] Acoustic guitar effects

I've been playing guitar for years, but have never messed with effects too
much.  I'm looking for an effect that will simply enhance the sound of the the
acoustic guitar.  Not really sure what i'm looking for.  Right now i'm running
through the sound board with nothing and it sounds very ... dead.  I just want
something that will liven (brighten?) it up.  I'm using a Taylor 810 with a
Fischman pickup, btw.  

Any suggestions?
