It is good to get feedback from the people you are serving. This can give
your team some excellent suggestions and raw material to use in future
worship events. Don't be stifled by the "Not Invented Here" syndrome that
often plagues groups that are designing something. (NIH is an attitude of
rejecting ideas because they came from someone else, without regard to the
merits of the ideas).

On the timing: It can be good to get feedback when it is fresh on people's
minds. It is also good to get feedback after people have had a chance to
think about it for a while. If the immediate session distracted people from
worship, that would be something to discuss with the team and with the
pastor.

The only thing that I can see to be annoyed about is the fact that the
pastor did not discuss the plan for a feedback session with the team in
advance. It probably never occurred to the pastor that this could be a
source of annoyance. Help him/her learn, but don't be too quick to judge
the pastor's intentions.
