[Worship] a lifestyle of worship

My wife has been reading a book (I think it was Desiring God by John 
Piper) and she said that she is more and more seeing God as One to 
"really go after" (in her words) - at least more than we currently 
are. As we talked about it we weren't really sure whether we are 
currently giving God our all.  We spend a fair amount of time driving 
kids to dance, going to this meeting or that meeting, etc. etc.  

The bottom line is how do we worship God, give Him our all, go after 
Him, in our everyday, often mundane tasks.  Is it an attitude of 
prayer and surrender?  Is it stopping of lot of that busy-ness and 
increasing the time with Him?  What do you see it as?

If this is, or will soon be, pushing the list boundaries I would 
welcome private responses.
