[Worship] monitors-another look

On the subject of in ear monitors. A few years ago a group came to our
church which had around 15 instrumentalists and 10 singers (sorry, can't
remember the name of the group). All the players used headphones, made
for a nice sound. Each one had a small control box which was fed a
common mix, AND their own instrument feed, either mic or direct. The two
input levels were completely controlled by the user. The boxes were
daisy-chainable and also served as a direct box. Obviously, it was an
active device. The inputs are power (wall wart), common mix and
instrument. The outputs are common mix, instrument and heaphones.

I failed to get a chance to find our who makes them or where I could get
some. I've been looking for 2 years and not found anything exactly like
them. I think they would be a great solution to alot of problems. So,
anybody know of anything like this? I would greatly appreciate any
information.
