Re: [Worship] AtTeNtiOn PeOpLeS!

Now, if I'm not mistaken I believe that concert pitch is Bb. That is to
say that when he plays a C chord it is actually a Bb. So everything that
he does is a whole tone lower than what he is actually playing.

I do not know why he would do this. In fact I don't know why concert
bands do this. Well actually I do know, it is because Brass instruments
and many woodwind instruments are tuned to a Bb but the music they read is
that it is a "C". So when they read "C" they are actually playing a Bb.
To me this is just lying, but it is what is done with concert band
instruments.

So his tuning on his guitar would be, D, G, C, F, A, D. Why I do not
know?

I wonder if this will help. You can if you want transpose you keyboard so
when you play "C" it is really Bb, so that the chords he is playing
matches what you are playing. Now, if he doesn't know the chord names
then you are still kinda messed.

Hope that helps a little.
