[Worship] Problem with .wav files

Hi,

I am having a problem with playing .wav files on my PC on my PC. Whenever I
play .wav files
there is a poping sound, almost like reverb is on.

The CD player works fine, but midi files won't play. The PC reports that
the midi player is in use, by it is not.

ANyone have any idea what is going On?

By the way, my PC crashsed the other day and I had to re-install all the
win95 files.
I suppose these two might be connected.

By the way, this is worship related...since I listen to worship and
practise playing 
along with the PC.
