[Worship] Re:Kevin and Laurie and "Worship in the Wilderness"

Kevin and Laurie and others who have gone through tough times...

A few years ago my wife Rita (who led me to the Lord!) and I went through
some difficult times in our marriage. God was gracious to squeeze us so
tightly that the "junk" of our childhoods, lies we had believed about
ourselves and communication issues could be exposed and vanquished by the
power of the Cross and the healing Balm of the Holy Spirit. In those
times the Lord encouraged us and gave me several songs like "Blessed are
the Broken" to help us. Though we are still growing together, our
relationship is better than ever- thanks to Godly counseling and the
grace and hope God gives!
I'd like to share a song lyric that Paul Smith and I wrote- I trust it
will encourage some on this list- especially in this "
Dying-Redemption-Resurrection" season:

"Worship in the Wilderness"
Here, where my heart is aching
Here, where the earth is shaking
Beneath my feet of clay
Here, in these lonely hours

Beyond my strength I say
