What? I was with you up to this point.
I am in a major leadership role at our church and am thrilled when the Lord
brings a new flavor of talent and inspiration to our church. Last December I had
a praise team leader from a local church come and join our church after a single
visit because she felt the Lord was touching her heart with our songs.
I am thrilled to have her input, talent and objective opinion. My group welcomed
her with open arms. She has added a whole new dimension of worship music to our
services. Just yesterday I hired a local (secular) professional studio drummer to
play with our contemporary Easter Celebration. The energy he added to our music
had people dancing in the isles, and we are a Lutheran church! Miraculously, he
was touched by the spirit and now wants to join our team! - AND- the church wants
me to have him back ASAP as a regular fixture!
"All good things take time" is a myth. Some good things take time, yes, but not
all.
I wish someone with your experience and dedication would walk through my door
tomorrow- I'd love to have you.

My heart is with you, I'm about to resign my position at the church this week.
I may leave ministry for a while even though I don't feel as though the Lord
wants me too; but I too am very ripped apart by strange decisions my church has
made over the past few months. I now find that I worship better outside of the
Sunday corporate setting.

Take a breather, clear your head and let the Lord do his will in your life.
But when you get back in the mix, step up and proudly offer your talents- I
assure you there are many churches that would love to have you.
