One of my first musical bloopers was a track nightmare while I was singing at 
this benefit concert. It was very dark in the room (with the exception of 
stage lights) especially where the sound booth was. Well the sound guy 
couldn't see which button to push so he hit "rewind" instead of play. Now 
this is one of those 3 key tracks and my tape was cued. So anyway, when he 
finally gets it to play it's in the middle of the song in the WRONG KEY!! 
ahhh! I just stood there for a second and then I said ..."ummm I think 
something happened to the tape! haha" and he says..." you think you could 
take it from here??" HAHA! About this time everyone is starting to laugh 
(including me) but instead of hitting fast forward he flips the tape to the 
demo vocal side! I know I was standing up there 5 to 7 minutes waiting for 
the tape but it seemed like eternity! 
Oh well at least it was a good ice breaker! (and some extra entertainment!) 
haha! :)
