I almost forgot. There is one very accurate volume control in any church
with young married couples with children between 3 and 6.
Watch the children when the music first starts (if they're sitting somewhere
near center and/or front of church. If a little child of somewhere in that
age range puts their hands over their ears, you can bet the sound just might
be a bit loud. Children that age have no axe to grind or "personal
preference," so if it is hurting their ears, you can bet something is too
loud.
