[Worship] Our New Sound System

Hello again, everyone!

I just mentioned in my previous post about our new projection system . .
I'm kinda "beaming" right now because we're getting ready to move into
our new sanctuary - I was really blessed by having a group of pastors
and elders who went the "extra mile" to make sure I got some really good
sound equipment for our new room - so I thought I'd share it with you!

SPEAKERS:  Rinkus Heinz SR Series - 15"
(Pro Audio Review's LoudSpeaker of the Year)

MAIN AMPS:  Rinkus Heinz Amps
(Custom made for these speakers - with built in, electronic crossovers)

MONITOR AMPS:  Yorkville

CONSOLE:  Soundcraft/Spirit 32 x 8

MAINS EQ:  Ashley
MONITORS EQ's:  DOD

MISC:
Williams' Sound - wireless hearing devices for the hearing impaired
15" and 12" Horizon floor monitors (already had these from a long time
ago!)
Mystery Electronics floor boxes - these are great - very pro looking and
sturdy,

Our snakes (sound cable snakes, that is . . .) go to the back of the
platform, and split going to several different Mystery Floor Boxes
strategically placed on the stage.  In the floorboxes are XLR inputs for
mics/instruments, and at least two 1/4" plugs for monitors.  The front
boxes (near the pulpit area, back several feet) have these plugs and a
RCA connector so that the video going into the overhead EIKI projectors
(song lyrics, etc.) can come video OUT and for TV's to plug into the RCA
video in/out for the singers to use to view song lyrics, as being
displayed on the two video screens.

We have four totally separate monitor mixes now:  (HOORAY!)
1 - dedicated monitor mix for worship leader
2-  monitor mix for praise team "up front" vocalists
3- monitor mix for rhythm section
4 - extra monitor mix for the Pastors, and others sitting on the stage,
or for horn players, etc . ..

I highly recommend the Rinkus Heinz speakers - they are a higher end,
pro-audio loudspeaker, and they may not be as well known, but are well
worth the bigger price tag.  I listened to the 12" RH speakers before
buying our 15"s, and compared them to a set of 15" JBL's, and there was
a very noticeable difference!

The carpet layers are finishing the platform area tomorrow, and after
that, I'll take some photos w/ our digital camera, so ya'll can see!
