Re: [Worship] Split track info?!?? Sound help please.
Fawn;
Mark is correct, with one exception. The left and right tape inputs
should only be on individual mono mixer channels for split tracks. You
can then customize individual monitor-main mixes with either a vocal or
instrument or both. On most mixers with stereo inputs, it will sum the
left and right channels at the monitor send. Apologies in advance if
your problem was previously answered; I get the digest version. :-)

As it sounds. your sound(person) has the tape return from the deck
directly
into the tape return on the sound board. This on most boards this only
allows the sound to be sent to the main speakers. If you want the sound
sent to the monitor mix(s) it should be sent from the tape player
directly
into ( 1stereo channel) or (2 mono channels). This allows the sound
person
to send the signal to where ever the mix is needed.
This should help
