[Worship] worship class

My first post.

I am a guitarist who does a bit of playing for the church, special music, 
etc.  I also lead a children's praise and worship time each week.  I have 
had a growing desire to do more of my own, and indeed our own, music in our 
church.  I had the idea of a Sunday School class on worship and worship 
music, as a way to focus on learning to worship privately, and perhaps 
publicly.  It is my hope that this will encourage the many talented and 
gifted people in the church to share their work and writing, and perhaps 
lead to putting together some music we can use privately and corporately. 
 Has anyone ever done this before, or have any words of wisdom in this 
area?
