[Worship] New Music??? Definition!!!

Hi brothers and sisters in Christ

Thanks for all those of you who replied my mail about
introduction of 'new' music.  I think that the word
'new' is quite misleading.  My mistake.

Actually, what's all the definition about?  What's
alternative music?  What contemporary music?  Is there
such thing as Christian new age music?  How would you
classified, say, Hillsongs music?  And how about Jars
Of Clay?  Or FFH?  Or DC Talk? 

Also, as we all know, though we are worship leaders,
we are indeed worshippers of God first and foremost.

How would you ask your congregation or just teach the
people what's the meaning of jumping up and down.  And
how would you 'warn' against any form of jumping for
the mere sake of just jumping and having fun?  I
myself, in praising God, sometimes struggles with the
fact that I end up jumping up and down not 100%
knowing why?  Is there an explanation?  Or is it the
spirit of God, just as He brings Holy laughter or
tears from time to time?
