[Worship] Pagan Worship

To All:
To those in the know, I am breaking my own self imposed exile here. This
topic came up and I was requested to check this out by another person
not able to go online. Here goes:

    The first day of Spring is coming, and not soon enough. Winter has
been brutal here. What interests me about the vernal equinox is its
significance to pagan (ne - wicca) worship in this area. There is a
small core of self proclaimed witches in Halifax who do outdoor
celebrations every significant date in their calender, specifically the
first days of each season. Last Summer, through a strange set of
circumstances, I happened to be in a position where I could watch their
'service' from the outside and gained insight into their focus. They
weren't simply worshiping pagan gods. They were taking direct aim at the
Christian church, and preaching hate in the form of freedom from 'church
oppression'. They started with about thirty people, and as their message
and music floated over the park, they wound up with about 100 worshiping
and indirectly (or directly) attacking Christianity and Jesus himself.
    My point, and I do have one is as follows. We in Halifax feel we are
on the verge of a great outpouring of God. We also want to tackle this
blatant devil worship head on, yet from a non confrontational standpoint
as they don't need ammunition to push their anti-Christian message. This
was attempted by another group last fall with disasterous results.
Christians were painted out by the news media and all onlookers to be
the attackers, and the Wicca people were the innocent victims of
discrimination and harrasment. Each time this happens they gain a
measure of legitimacy and more and more people believe in what they say.

    We plan to possibly set up our own outdoor worship service near the
same location as they do and offer the same stuff they do, but with a
focus on the true God. What we need are ideas for songs, possible
messages, handouts, etc..., anything which would be helpful in taking
the message to the lost who may wind up influenced by this attack on all
that is holy. Please e-mail privately, or post if you wish.
