Lawrence, as someone who the Lord once told to
start one of these "Satanic" rock groups - which
subsequently led probably thousands of kids to
salvation through the music we played - and the
results (fruit) thereof I STILL occasionally, 20 years
later hear first hand from people who the Lord
allowed us to touch for Him - I have to say that the
people who wrote these articles are sadly mistaken.

Not in all cases, certainly.  Even 20 years ago, when
I was a part of that Christian Rock Music scene,
there were a LOT of big-name Christian artists who
I knew weren't called to be playing music for the Lord.
But there are and were also many who are.

I especially feel sad to see people knock the newer
worship music, like the Hillsongs music, or Matt Redman
or Delirious or - my personal favorite of late - the British
Stonleigh Band.  These people are anointed.  I cannot
imagine someone who is truly in tune with the Holy
Spirit listening to Delirious' "What a Friend I've Found"
and declaring that they are satanic.

These people are going to be VERY surprised when
they get to Heaven.  And I personally plan to be there
saying, "Brother, forget it - you didn't understand."
But don't let them cause you grief now.  Be discerning -
the devil truly DOES run around like a hungry lion, seeking
whom he may devour.  And he's incredibly deceitful.  So
be discerning.  But don't throw out the baby with the
bathwater.

Lawrence, bless you - I feel your heart in asking what
you did.
