Anyway, I haven't had any experience with scanning software, but some of
those I've questioned have been disappointed with MidiScan.  One person
(I think on the ChurchBass list) recommended SharpEye OCR to scan music
(http://www.visiv.co.uk/) although I haven't even had a chance to visit
the site yet.  If you try it, let us know what it's like!!
