[Worship] Ibanez Vs Yamaha

Greetings List,
Here's a question for those talented individuals we like to call...Bass
players.

I am soon going to be looking into buying a new bass, and as I
(unfortunately) don't have enough money to buy an Ernie Ball Stingray, I
have narrowed it down to two options. Ibanez Soundgear, or a Yamaha.
The SDGR I am thinking of is a 5-string, w/ active pickups and a 2-octave
neck. I REALLY like the sound and look of a SDGR, but have not played one,
so I was wondering if any of you guys *non-gender specific term* :-), have
played the SDGR, and a comparable Yamaha, and which you prefer out of the
two.
I really like the attack that a SDGR gives, but the Yamaha's seem to have a
better overall tone.
Also I know that Yamaha's (in most cases) have a nice feel (low action), but
have not had enough playing experience on the SDGR, o ma a judgement.
Anyway, any help/advice would be greatly appreciated.
