RE: [Worship] What to do in this situation??

Chey,

Not that we ever really want advice, but I'll give you some that has
worked very well for me in the recent past:

Step 1. Pray.

That's it! Ask God to implement His plan for you here, then relax and
watch Him work. The benefits of this "technique" are many:

1. It is scriptural.
2. It is easy. You don't have to *do* anything else. Just sit back and
let His plan unfold.
3. You have no worries. If your prayer is for God to do what is best
for you, then He will.

The only downside is that you cannot bend his plan to your will. You
must be willing to allow Him to do what He wants, not what you desire.

I have been worship leader where members of the "team" openly fought me
(the fellow's wife was a practicing witch, but I won't dwell on the
details). By this I mean that he would actually strum chord patterns
contrary to the music timing, just to throw the singers and the rest of
the team off during a serviceI could have fought back, but instead I
asked God to deal with the situation, and simply carried on as if he
weren't causing problems (ASIDE: the political fallout of trying to
fight him would have had very negative consequences for the church due
to many other factors). Within 1 month, he had voluntarily left the
music team (without anger, without any scene, without any bitterness).
Furthermore, each Sunday after I started praying, "something" would
always come up to prevent him from playing during the service.

My point: NEVER, NEVER, NEVER underestimate God.

Cheers,

-Richard.
