Re: [Worship] Stop generalizing Preachers

I appreciate your reminder. I certainly did not mean to put down
"preachers." Of course when I talk I am only talking about my own experience
as a "preacher" and the "preachers" I have known. I have found that (and
here I am generalizing from my own experiece so I am sure there are
exceptions) that gifted people tend to see there gift as of primary
importance without regard to which gift it is. Evanglist see evangelism as
the most important. Teachers see teaching as the most important. Preachers
see preaching as the most important. And yes Worship Leaders see worship as
the most important. It would be strange to see a person who has been called
to teach who thinks that worship was more important than teaching or a
person called to be a dedicated Worship Leader who said evanglism was more
important then worship. I think, again just my opimion, it comes from God
showing us how important we are to the body. All of us must be on guard let
of spirit of pride overtake us.
