Dear All,
We too use our Own Hanging of the Greens but we also do a Dehanging of the 
Greens right before Epiphany to put away our decorations.  The Chrismons 
practice was started in Danville, VA in 1957, at the Ascension Lutheran 
Congregation.  Although they do not demand or even request a royalty for 
making and using Chrismons, it is good to give the Woman of that Church 
creditfor what they have created.  Chrismon books with designs are available 
and most of the fun is making them, which is richer and more meaningful than 
buying them but you canbuy them as well or kits with which to make them.  
Most are made with Styrofoam as base but I also have seen balsa wood painted 
white utilized.
