RE: [Worship] Paid WC: blessing or curse?

I can't answer all the questions but I would like to comment on the
paid/volunteer time issue. Some people may say "I work 40+ hours a week and
I still volunteer at the church several evenings on top of that. The (WC /
MoM / music guy) should be putting in volunteer time too." The difference is
that for no one else is it required. Those who put in this extra time CHOOSE
to serve. How would they feel if their 9-5 boss required them to be at their
job 40 hours a week and then required them to work every weekend and 3
evenings a week on top of that for free?
