[Worship] Prayer Request

Hi all,

I have a prayer request.  I am a fairly new tech team leader in our church.
I've been helping with the tech team and singing in the choir at this church
for over a year (we just moved here).  Anyways, the prior leader has had all
youth running the lights and powerpoint.  There is always a lot of mistakes
and they never show up.  We got a new Worship Leader shortly after we moved
here.  I got to know him and now I put the slides together (I have done this
for a long time) and because the other tech leader is stepping down, he
asked me to start running the booth.  We agreed that in order to have more
consistency, it would be good to have the powerpoint operators attend the
Sunday morning rehearsal and then do both services.  They would only have to
do this once a month.  Well, I sent a letter out and quite a few of them
quit, but they weren't committed to begin with.  Today, I ran the slides
because I was filling in.  The old tech leader came in and basically yelled
at me that this would never work and she had tried to do this once and all
the youth would quit.  She has been making a fuss all over the church about
this.  I just keep quiet, but right now am very upset.  I knew this would
happen.  I did put an ad in the bulletin for more operators and feel God
will bring them to us.  We sure could use prayers right now in our tech
ministry.  Any advice would be appreciated also.  She also is scheduled to
be the "tech director" in the booth once a month still because she wants to
be, she doesn't want the responsibility of the whole thing.
