I know exactly what you're saying.  Our church here has 1000 members.  We're
really growing and God is here.  However, there are a few here who are
remnants of when this church was small and they're causing trouble with
their attitudes.  Another story is the first time I was the "tech director"
in the booth for a Sunday PM service, a gentleman (who doesn't like tech
people) came up and told me we were way too loud and were disturbing the
service.  Now, I know at times, things can get loud, but we were only
whispering that night.  I was totally flabbergasted.  I didn't know what to
say.  Another night, somebody else (a deacon) did the same thing.  That
night, there was one point where some loud whispering did occur.    Mind
you, our tech  ministry has no budget because lots of people don't like it.
I'm still thinking how to deal with those people.  We do have to whisper up
there.  They just had sound boards put all around the sanctuary so I am
wondering if that is why the men below us could hear us, or do they just
want to cause trouble.  Well, only through prayer can I do any of this!
