[Worship] RE: Singable Keys

Even if our voices don't sound as good in a key that 
is comfortable for the congregation, I'd encourage that key anyway.  That 
will actually help the worship leader to be more invisible


I really try to honor this thought.  My chest voice is G3 to G4.  Head sound 
up to G5 comfortably (and somewhat pleasantly).  I will change keys to bring 
the upper notes to around B-C and try to sound as pretty as possible.  I 
would love to wail in my lower register, and people have commented that this 
is a pleasing sound to them, but I still try to honor the congregation as a 
whole.
