Re: [Worship] Sharing what we know
Hi Carolyn:
My question was in the context of the narrow issue of an electric guitarist who plays too loud, drowning out everyone else. It is fine to allow people to enhance and improve their musical and instrumental skills while participating on a worship team. However, there are exceptions, and painfully loud electric guitars are (to me) one of them. It may be mor
of an attitude issue than skill ("I MUST be heard"). Another intolerable musical problem is a saxophonist who misses notes, and sounds like a dying or tortured cat.

To teach piano by ear and through sightreading (when my sightreading skills needs work). Yet, somehow...God just has a way of using what we are willing to let him use.
