Hey everyone!
 
I know it's been a while since I've given you an update on my Dad's 
condition. You'll have to forgive me, things have been quite crazy!
 
Well, just to give you the gist of things, Daddy is doing MUCH better, 
although he's still not completely recovered, he's slowly returning back 
to his old self. He was transferred to Healthsouth Rehabilitation 
Hospital, in Fayetteville (only one town away, so it's not too bad), at 
the first of April, where he is receiving the physical and occupational 
therapy that is required to get him back to where he can come home and 
go back to work and things like that. He is doing very well, and is 
showing a lot of progress, such as standing up on his own (for 20 
seconds at a time), sitting in a chair to do leg exercises, and using 
his left hand (which was broken so badly that it curled up) to do things 
such as throw a ball, hold a cup, and squeeze a balloon filled with 
sand. Now, these may not seem like very much, but they are like feats of 
strength for him! :) We are very proud of his progress and can't wait to 
have him home. if he pushes himself, and he's doing a great job, we hope 
to have him home sometime around September.

I want to thank you all for your words of encouragement, all the cards, 
and all the gifts that you've been sending to my Dad and to our family. 
It's great to know that we have so many people out there who are 
cheering Daddy on in his road to recovery.

Thank you for all the sweet thoughts, and all the CD's, books, and 
videotapes that have been sent. We appreciate it all very much!
