Re: [Worship] putting songs in singable keys

Strangely enough, I think God Of Wonders is an 'easier' song to sing than
Shout To The Lord. Shout To The Lord is a melody-driven power-ballad, while
God of Wonders's melody is repetitive and nearly chant-like... but it's more
'atmospheric' (if I can call it that) and its ethereal quality can make it
hard to catch if a congregation isn't familiar singing that sort of song.
But yes, as you know, my church has used it very effectively and it's a
'favorite'.
I also find that younger congregations tend to pick up on it more quickly.
