[Worship] singable keys

I am interested in leading worship, as a female, as have learned lots of
songs that are typically done in keys that were I to lead, I couldn't sing
well in that high of range (like Lord I lift you Name on High in G)
I can't go down without relearning it on the guitar in another key, so just
this morning I thought about tuning down 1 step when I lead by myself.
And I'm a little bit trained vocally, and think I've been called a second
soprana though I sing alto.
If it's too high for me, I think it's too high for at least 85% of women in
the congregation.

On another note, does anyone else have a praise team that just loves hard
songs that are really contemporary, but gripes when you put in easy stuff.
(II personally love the hard stuff too, but I'm thinking about this in terms
of a flowing worship experience, not a list of difficult songs with 3
verses, 3 choruses, and a bridge. Sometimes we just need a single chorus
sung a few times, where we can just totally focus on worship)
It needs to be geared for the congregation to worship, not professional
musicians.
